The Capuchin presence in the taluka of Canacona is a recent one. The Capuchins in Goa now have a new formation house. It is all set to serve the order as one of the centres of formation. This place falls into the green zone in Goa. Surrounded by wild animals, especially at night, the friars would require some time to accustom themselves to this new place. Nevertheless, they have managed very well thus far.
